I agree with the second guy that they talked to about jobs in manufacturing. I think that many people have no interest in going into manufacturing because they think the salary is low, and stable or decreasing salaries don't make it any more appealing. I agree that it is ridiculous to pick and choose only highly trained workers and refuse to train them yourself, when you aren't willing to pay more. If you want more qualified workers, you have to pay more than what they are now. In jobs other than manufacturing, I think it is crazy that there are so many open jobs when there are so many people looking for work.
I am undecided on what I want to do when I get older. I have always been interested in computers, so I am interested in becoming a computer engineer or computer programmer. Developing programs or software isn't something I know much about now, but I could see myself learning how to do it and doing it for a living.
